Chinese Service
Went for chinese svc last sun (18 Nov). Chinese service is taught by Bro John. First tme seen him is during eng svc he translated eng sermons to an old lady a few times. When i first talked to him, i told him he's good knowing how to preach in 2 language, but he say the glory goes to God. He's an excellent preacher! He taught about Exodus, how God bring Moses to lead the ppl. (Ex 44). Moses asked the Lord to show his Glory.(verse 18).
He shared with us about how he want to hear God's voice as a new christian, which is my hope too. He taught us how to be close to God, wait for the Lord and be still. Waiting is not easy, but we wait cos we believe he is in control.
We want to see God's glory in our lives. We want to draw close to Him. We want to know Him better. The verses that ministered to me: Ex 44:14 My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.
During the ending song, He pray for us to know God better, to see His glory.
psalms 51:17 The sacrifice of God are a broken spirit;a broken and contrite heart, O God you will not despise.
Bro John svc touched my heart. Saw his passion for God thru his svc. I'm looking forwards to next chinese svc, and hope one day i can be like Bro John,knowing both langs of the bible. I'm praying to do well in my work and studies too. May God's will be done in me.
